Eastside Urchin
Strange one for me but i guess steve has his rerasons,he's an honest bloke though and he msay just think that someone can take the club higher than he can.Times are hard for everyone at the moment and football clubs aren't cheap, especially the higher you go although i am sure he will be around for a while unless a buyer comes forward quite soon
cup of tea
Saw that as well. Certainly the Billericay fans that have posted have got a lot of time for the current owners. How many takers would you have for a non-league club at the moment though?
Eastside Urchin
Not many, that's why I think he will be there for a while yet. I wouldn't have a clue about costs but when an opportunity arises like this,I believe fans should at least look at it as an opportunity to buy their club or part of it.Some clubs will obviously have more assetts than others which would make them more attractive but more expensive
blackballed
To most its a great idea to own part of the club, and in one respect we do, ie paying to come in, but you just do not own a club for one week which most people could maybe afford but its week after week and so on. The day to day running of a club takes a lot of time and to find someone unpaid for that job is almost impossible let alone the cost of it all. We at Hornchurch are lucky that we have people who are prepaired to give up their time and money to do these jobs and a big thanks to them all. As they say in non league football to make a small fortune from it you have to start out with an even bigger one. Lets all hope it works out for Ricay as it would not be the same without them ............ Dibs
