I don't think Steve or Sharon would take that as an insensative comment, Im sure they see it the same way as us, if the right person was to put an offer to Steve that moves our club forward then Steve would be interested to talk.

 

After reading the gazette today, it's seems the club is stable for this season and Steve's full backing is with us, but if nothing was to materialise from being put up for sale by the end of the season next year, that's when it will affected us truely.

 

As a side note, its credit to Steve Sharon, and all of us supporters that in ye gazette today craig mentioned he would buy us if he had the money, so did grant, his words were 'this is a proper football club' on Saturday at the friendly, so we are doing things in the right way as a club for any potential buyer looking inwards with a view to buy.

 

Like I said before, this should be a very exciting time of year full all of us (including gatwick flyer) as we are going into the unknown.....so let's make it the best we can!!!

Tis a shame really that Steve & Sharon have decided to put the club up for sale. There will never ever be the same commitment from any owners of a football club. Last year Sharon & Steve were mixing concrete by hand ( i know because Steve whacked me with the sledge hammer & lived to tell the tale) i respected them both before that but it multiplied a hundred fold that week.

 

I agree with everyone else (Barring New Lodger of course) that these are indeed exciting times for the club and that is thanks to Sharon, Steve, Craig and everyone else associated with the club.

We are Champions and promoted based on performance. not play off's (no disrespect intended Gatwick Flyer) If i had a club to sell now is the ideal time. (the only club i have belongs to the other TC i think it's called a nine iron & it's not for sale)
