It wasn't an assumption been speaking to a few people who I keep contact with. As part of the coaching team and the way a colleague was dismissed left a bitter taste in my mouth and others. The way we were then treated by people when we came to support hoddy was atrocious. Made me aware of people to trust that's why I make these posts. People may hate me but I've learned at this level people will slander you. I've done and said it and I won't retract my statement I won't succumb to brown nose and won't let people dictate what I do. We had a good coaching team which was dismantled by someone who seemed to have a vendetta. But if that's the way people go about there business I want nothing to do with and makes me see a different side to people. Jon like I said I have respect for you, but others have lost that and so has the club that I thought was decent. That's my opinion ! Not of opinion of any club. we learn people see things. To be fair one other in club will always have my respect and they know who they are.

Dwayne, it is a shame you are obviously still so raw in your feelings towards our club. I would like to wish you good luck in your new role; however, would ask if you post about hoddesdon on this forum, you are sure what you are posting is correct.

 

Rumours will do little to negatively impact upon a teams playing ability, but are still frustrating to read when they are not true.

What are u on about. I get my info from "your players" what's raw? My unjust comes from people in ur club telling me what others are saying about me and a friend if mine? I simply asked a question. Now answer me this where do the sour grapes come from? Did I get sacked? My unjust comes from the fact the way my friend was treated. Fact! Plain and simple. I have players leaving hoddy asking to come over coz they don't want to be there. I have people telling me you and others want to talk crap about me behind my back. I'm p1ssed because if the way a friend and myself were treated when we were spectators by your club. Like I stated previously there are two people in that club I have respect for. And they know who they are. If its sour grapes you want then look in mirror and ask yourself "am I here on merit?" anyway enough said I've got a job to do which I earnt in merit with the experience I have got! Plain and simple. Now jog on plan a session...bell

I barely got to know you or the other person you allude to in your post. I have been nothing but polite to you when I have seen you at lowfield. I very much hope this is just an angry post, but if not then once again I would like to wish you all the luck for this season.

The quiet one, I think you need to button it because you are anything but quiet. Move on & concentrate on your new post. Life's far too short to hold grudges. If there's something I've learned from all my time in football it's never burn your bridges & treat your old clubs/players like old mates. You never know when you may have to/ want to go back !

If these players are so desperate to leave Hoddesdon then why not get then training with you. Still a month to go before the season starts so the odds are they won't have signed on yet. I can't imagine that Jonno has been saving up his pennies and got them all on 3 year contracts. If what you are saying is true, The players involved need to man up & tell the Hoddy manager or chairman they want to leave. Can't believe either would want players in the club who didn't want to be there.

 

I did it when I left Sun Sports just after the season has started. The managers (of the time) and committee were all very professional and adult about it. Was invited back the season after and still have a good chat to those guys at the AGM or stop in if I'm passing.

I never want to go back there or would want favours from them? Ive been at many clubs and go there and speak to people and have many friends, but the way people take banter and turn it around to try and attack me doesn't sit nicely. Like i said I have no problem with most people. I respect 2 people from that club who i still speak to but if others want to pipe up and talk absolute crap to his players, current or former about me why doesn't he man up and say it to my face. Everyone at the club has my number and that hasn't changed if they need it 07949107712 call me and go for it. Seriously I enjoy coaching but some people rattle me when they talk sh1t and haven't got the balls to say it to my face. Tring I have got some down the ones we want as a club anyway, and were preparing hard for a tough season. Anyway Ive said enough about Nick and certain others at that club. Wish Frank and Jonno the best this season.

Yes I'm curious as to who gets the joy of Piers attentions this season.

 

No doubt it will all end in tears (again...). They used to say he's had more clubs than Tiger Woods but now it's more clubs than Clifford Rhodes!

 

Only ever been involved with two clubs!!

BTW who's your money on ?

Tiger is actually coming back into form & will be dangerous & the cream usually rises to the top at Lytham. Also expect Adam Scott, Graeme McDowell & Ian Poulter to make an impression.
