It is well known in SSML circles that Hoddesdon Town FC are are a bunch of pr1cks who try and get promoted by their ar5e licking to the blazers that run the SSML

 

They are particularly adverse to successful Scottish managers who plied their trade in Div 1 for one season only and got promotion with inferior facilities ( :D ) - maybe if they shared with a cricket team everything would be ok!

 

Not winning programme of the year obviously didnt go down well......maybe the blazers aint got licky ar5es anymore?

BSFC, call me a prick on here all you like, I don't take offence to keyboard warriors. But should our paths cross in non league football, you make sure you repeat it to my face and I will give you my response then.

The truth has been spoken, if u don't speak, dress or act like (brown nose) they clearly don't like you. tbh the only one i respect at that club is Jonno but every one are d1cks. they can break rules and nothing happens but anyone dears step up and challenge em people get the hump!! Feck em.....

BSFC is either one of the thickest people on this forum, or has got nothing better to do than start this ridiculous thread.

Just got home from training. 65 players there including all first team regulars from last season with the exception of 3 on holiday. Tom Massey has gone to try his luck at a higher level and good luck to him.

 

Not for the first time this week, what has been "heard" is incorrect. Let's wait till the ink is dry on the signing on forms and the season kicks off before we make assumptions on personnel.

65 players for 4 teams, 35 players for 2 teams. Doesn't make one bit of difference. If more than 60% of those at training are still there by the time of the 1st kick on the opening day of the league season I'll be very surprised.

Totally agree,

3 trials sessions so far, seen about 60 players to date....signed a few...more to come back from there hols...very early doors, who will be about when the season starts, bet its about half of them!!!

Dwayne, thanks for compliment but I'm surprised at your comments lately. As a former member of the coaching staff at Hoddesdon, you know better than this. I got on well with you when you were at the club and I think you worked hard but your posts on here lately just smack of, as nick Ince said, sour grapes.

 

Your wild assumptions about players leaving Lowfield, not getting on with the gaffer and an astronomical wage budget are so wide of the mark. Knowing the chairman as you do, do you really see money being thrown away on a season where promotion is no guarentee?

 

Cockfosters are a good club and I'm glad you are still actively involved in non league football and the spartan league in particular. But don't damage their reputation and yours by slinging mud at your former club.

 

I look forward to seeing you at Lowfield this season and sharing an orange juice. Good luck for the season.
