Bye and good luck to all

I remember being at one of my hearings at the FA, because I alledgedly called the ref 'a f*cking muppet'. I nearly pi$$ed myself with laughter hearing this doddery octogenarian read out the refs accusations ! Lol

My old mucker 'Loose' got hauled up as well for telling the muppet his name was 'Mickey Mouse'.

I got off with a slappwd wrist !

I also feel the league should focus more on clamping down on clubs who fly in the face of the rules, clubs who are constantly in trouble for discipline and violent conduct rather than policing peoples opinions and wading in on name calling matters

I see the League minutes occasionally & there are all sorts of fines issued each month, just very few get discussed on here.

Someone better placed than me I'm sure will confirm, but I think the majority of the discipline side is dealt with at a County Level rather than League ....

.. but I know what you are getting at

Is that right? The same culprits are at it every year and it shouldn't be allowed.

Yes.

So you haven't forgotten that your remarks on this forum about Oxhey Jets when you were a Club Official with Kentish Town resulted in a fine from the London FA.

In Hertfordshire clubs* are fined for reaching various thresholds in penalty points (one point per booking and two points per dismissal), the threshold levels are 48 pts, 96 pts, 144 pts, 192 pts etc. Fines are increased at every level, £25 first level, £50 second level, £100 third level).

* The threshold levels are based of number of teams, figures quoted above is for two teams (first and reserves).

But what if it is things that don't get cards? Threatening behaviour, violent conduct not seen by the ref, fighting etc....

If the Referee does not see any of the above that you have listed then he/she cannot take any action.

Well of course but sometimes they choose not to see them. However I'm talking about the league if the same clubs are using the same behaviour and everyone knows it then they should do something.

What I still can't work out is if the bloke got the sack for the strokes he tried to pull - which he did - how come you still ended up getting a slap on the wrist?

Well I've had my fair share of full on rants on one or two things but as a long distance supporter what can they do? And not sure tere should be one rule for one one for another. However if anyone makes a claim they should be made to prove it or unreservedly apologise maybe???

This is beyond a joke. For a club to be fined for saying there opinion in a forum is a joke. What happens when someone not attached to club has there full on rant. What's the league gonna do then. I know for damn sure they can't shut down the website #wasteoftime

Its quite simple, clubs are responsible for their officers. However fans come outside the law.

As already stated in the thread, rant as much as you like but use an alias.

In your post you insult Hoddesdon Town by calling them, "Sad sad pricks".

As a Club Official you represent your team when making comments on this or any other forum.

Obviously you did not learn your lesson from your previous fine.

How much this time?

Pete,,,,,,,,,get a feckin life

everyone knows Hoddy are so far up the committees ar5e its untrue

feck them....feck Roger

and when they get a ground they dont share with a cricket club maybe they could be deemed as premier potential

WB, the name calling doesn't bother me at all but at the time I was concerned by the accusation of Hoddesdon Town entering into a dirty tricks campaign. This was entirely inaccurate and a smear on Hoddesdon. And whilst the complaint did not come from me personally, I support the complaint that it appears my club have made to the SSMFL.

If that makes me a sad p***k, then so be it.

yep ...........you are

cant win it on a footy pitch so go running to league bleating about someone on a forum.....sad cvnts imo

anyone for cricket?

Was the post in a official capacity of the club or was it your individual personal opinion ?

The SSML would be wise to heed the #twitterjoketrial opinions. More info see bit.ly/be8ike

Difficult to see how they can sustain such a course of action in view of this if you were on a frolic of your own? You have a right of free speech under Article 10 of the ECHR. Advice would be for you to put the SSML to proof as to how they have jurisdiction over your personal opinion. If however you speak on behalf of the club in some capacity it may be more difficult.

Surely rule 8.21 is aspirational "nothing should be included on the website or similar computer related information system"

Can they satisfy themselves that any post you make as an individual with the rights of ECGR article 10 falls within their rule ?

Is this forum within that definition and is your message bringing anything into disrepute where it is just an opinion, right, wrong or otherwise. Thin ice me thinks
