petethegreek
Wolverton Town teams were blue team vs Marsh gibbon and red team vs Real Padbury not 1st and reserves as the teams were very much trial elevens with the stronger team probably the blue team. I have amended the results page. I did look on the Clubs' website earlier which showed the fixtures as 1st Team and Reserves.

petethegreek
I'm using the current format as I thought it might be quicker for readers to look up results and reports rather than scrolling back.

thecoldend
COLNEY HEATH 2 ENFIELD 1893 FC 4 Decent game played in the rain in the first half and brightening up in the second (still horrible for July though!)....Away side took 0-3 lead in at HT only for the new side from CHFC (they fielded different XI's in each half...red and white stripes first half and orange in the second) to make it 2-3 (one a PK) with 1893 scoring late on to make 2-4. Played on the second pitch at Colney Heath's ground. I reckon there was about 30-40 people watching the game. Rhodes
TheColdEnd - I gather Gordon Boateng is the Enfield 1893 supremo so expect big things from your bitter rivals this season
thecoldend
I wouldn't call them bitter rivals as we have never played them in league competition. Things have moved on since the breakaway from the old club in 2001. Town (formed 2001) have got a new rivalry to look for in the Ryman Premier. Enfield 1893 FC (formed 2007) have theirs in the Essex Senior League. I think they'll do well but there are definitely two or three other teams I think will finish above them.....but I am here to be proved wrong and I usually am wrong!! Savagebee
Tuesday 10 July Metropolitan Police Bushey 0 Hanwell Town 2 How did you find the facilities? Very good to be honest Mr Greek and considering how much rain we had yesterday the pitch we played the match on was superb.
