Winslow Boy
Excellent news. If you know anyone there I suggest signing Matty Hall who Vale signed from us then loaned to Thane. Excellent left sided player masses of pace, high work rate, great ability on the ball and consistent delivery

Munchkin
Louis Austin could be going there as well. Great player, had some terrible luck with injuries though.
patrick
Well aylesbury must have plenty of money cos cooper dont go anywhere unless he is getting top money, as long as they dont expect him to train ,as he could"nt get to colney heath for training so he wont be going to aylesbury very often!! I can't believe Colney Heath were paying 'top money' any more than we will be! And sadly we neither play nor train in Aylesbury at the moment so if he ends up in Aylesbury he'd be lost! Two strikers in our squad now who both got >30 goals last season... quality! Heard the rumours that Austin is on his way too... not sure there's many defences in the league who will be able to handle those 3 next season

I really hope you guys win the thing, but got to get back in Aylesbury, maybe once Vale go bust lol you can take over there. Any major losses? I heard Danny Jones is crossing the divide again. Good that Edgey has resigned.

Good that Edgey has resigned. He hasn't yet apparently, but has indicated he wants to... Class act! I would call Jones a major loss although he was played out of position last season, and others aren't too sad to see him go
Winslow Boy
Greenduck. Do you think rather than pay groundshare and players it would be better to put it towards a pitch in Aylesbury which would prob meet starting div 2 but building from there, it all just seems so short term. Even if you were in div 2 I bet the attendances would be excellent and the money saved and generated (also better local sponsorship) could be put towards developing somewhere? I'd love to see the club back in town doing well Oxford City started that way again in early 90's and it's worked pretty well for them.

I hear what you're saying, but the trouble in Aylesbury is that even the 'greenfield' sites which would potentially suit Div 2 football (such as Fairford Leys where Hale Leys FC play) we've already been told 'no' by the council for potential development... The only way that would work would be to buy some unused land, and no-one has the money to do that!

Munchkin
Based on ability Austin would be a wonderful signing, one of the best strikers i saw in Prem 2 seasons ago. Missed virtually whole of last season through injury though, so will be interesting to see when he will be back and how it has effected him. as47
Hilarious when people come on here claiming to know what money players are on because their brothers, neighbours postman went to school with the player! Always makes me chuckle!
renegade
Love it how fans of clubs always like to play down that their club don't pay this and don't pay that....believe what you want to believe, don't bother me......i'm sure he will be worth every penny !!! as47
He's a great player at this level and maybe a couple of levels above. And will probably end up top goalscorer. But no matter if you know him or not, or if you are right or wrong about his "wages", I'm pretty sure most players wouldn't that kind of info floating about on these forums. Then again, what do I know?
Winslow Boy
Teams never learn look at Dunstable went bust cos of paying stupid money lost their ground. Now council have provided a facility and they just repeating same mistakes. Barton Rovers did it were successful in south mids good runs in vase but what have they done at the level above?
