The pitch at HDP

Normally looks good this time of year-but must be looking particuarly good at the moment with the unusual summer mixture of sun and rain-perfect grass growing conditions. ?

Always looks good-but did think last season it was a bit anaemic/yellow looking-hopefully its now transcended into the greeen green grass of home

The only issue we've had with the pitch was just after having re-seeded areas of the pitch a few weeks ago, we had a torrential downpour which washed the seed away! That said, the last time I was at the ground, it was looking very good, as usual.

What is the state of the bogs like? At the last home game there was a fearsome log that just wouldn't flush (not my fault, I blame one of those ghastly Billericay types for that). Is it still there? Also, will we be having blue and white toilet paper next season?

MISA sold it to a chap up at the allotments - he's using it as a growbag for his cucumbers!

I hope a full and proper Health & Safety examination was done on it before it was sold. After all MISA do not want to fall foul of H&S procedures.

:sumo: :klo: :funny:

Though they had a storm that washed away most of the original seeding, I believe they reseeded. The pitch(Though I have not had a close look) looks to be in a better condition than other seasons, due in no small part to the amount of moisture and the lack of burning hot sunshine which as caused damage in the past.

What month did we play you in the Kent senior cup ? Was it October ? I thought then your pitch looked really good. Who is your groundsman? Is it voluntary or are they paid ?

you cant have him! he's ours! :D ;)
