next saturday IF....little old Hornchurch overcome what will be stiff opposition from our visitors (who have nothing to lose)...history will be made if we get into the draw for the 1st round proper....

 

that draw will be live on BBC TV at 5.15 pm and will obviously be watched by all of us if we get through......

 

I genuinely believe that we will win the match next saturday and I also believe that we will draw a big team at home...

 

how we deal with that remains to be seen...

 

and NO...I'm not tempting fate...we know it will be tough but we are strong enough to see this one through....

I'm not one to tempt fate, but IF we beat Paulton Rovers, then I'd personally be gutted if we didn't get a league club in the next round. Ideally, I'd love us to play Sheffield Wednesday, undoubtably the biggest club outside of the top two divisions, failing that someone Hull City, Bristol City, QPR or Barnsley, one of the bigger second division sides. I'm not too bothered if its at home or away, just as long as its a league side. Being drawn away to someone like Telford, Leigh RMI, Tamworth and the like, would be disappointing, but lets just see what happens next week. Take nothing for granted next Saturday, don't let us be the victim of a giant killing!

[color:"blue"]Sorry .... Started on the amber bladder lubricating oil at lunchtime yesterday in the Bridge Hse watching the Rugby ... then top'd it up with a few more in our bar after the game ... and then rounded it all off with god knows how many cans round me bro's with the family and Karaoke.
