Umbrella Man
Not Looking good for them http://www.thisiscornwall.co.uk/Truro-City-limbo-players-ill/story-16635305-detail/story.html
The Mayor Of Simpleton
Looking likely that they will fold and Conference South will be one side lighter this season. A pity that Bishops Stortford or Gloucester City couldn't be moved over to play their games.
Top Cat
It’s a real shame when any club folds, hopefully they will get things sorted out at the last minute, a situation like this can't be good for their team moral. a post form another forum from Truro City fan re their friendly tomorrow against Tiverton "Hi Tivvy_Al can confirm the game is on and your gaffer has been warned that we will bring a reserve side up there on Saturday. First team have refused to play. All the lads have allowed their contracts to be registered with the league before Saturday's deadline however they have also served the club with a 14 day notice as per league/FA rules. If the outstanding money is settled by 10am next thursday that action will be withdrawn. Very sad day for Truro City and our Chairman has to carry the can for this situation. Superb set of players who, like the supporters, deserve much much better. Ryan.c
Unfortunately the knock-on effect IF Truro go pop will be felt on us as well. With no home game (with the exception of two sparsley supported friendlies) since the end of April, is a long time to go without your major source of income. Hopefully they'll have something sorted that at least allows them to start the season. I think we find out today.

Rick the Dick
Looks like Truro are saved. Think that's probably a good thing for us at the moment.
