Reserves Prep for New Season

Have now signed 17 year old striker Shane Mitchell for Margate Reserves, another one of last years Ramsgate Under 18s championship winning squad. Shane was a great goalscorer at Under 18s level and also in Reserve games that he played last season for the Rams. Shane is a player that if he keeps listening and learning, i feel could go a lot further in football.

Looking pretty good in the reserve set up.

If some of us were a bit aggrieved with the exodus of younger margate players to ramsgate at the start of last season-have the tables turned ?

The season before-did'nt the same happen with a few ramgsate players to margate and the season before that-the other way around again.

seems a bit of a constant see-saw.

What needs to happen to get some constant progression ,and one of the reserve set-ups really break -free of the thanet network ? (maybe an unfair comment-i simply do not know ? ).

Looking good for Margate reserves for 2012/13 though.

Assuming it is 'good'-what can be done to take the reserves up a level ?

Large number of 4 teams.

With one league, cups and possibly a new format for the floodlit Trophy, there will be plenty more games this coming season. Hopefully no massive 3 week gaps between games next season.
