Actually some quite good football played at times today, must have been the reserves influence. Keeper and back four had a usual look about it but the midfield was definitely different. The average age must have been reduced by several with a line up of Willams (who continues to impress) Parsons, Deacon and Perfect. All contributed admirably (no prima donnas there!) and Perfect on the left flank gave attacking opotions that have been sadly lacking lately.

 

A goal would have been just reward for a much improved display but despite Simon Martin's efforts it just would not come. Still, renewed hope for the rest of the season, we can build on this and start to put some points on the board now and maybe have a cup run or two.

It was a definite improvement on Saturday. Good to see some of the youngsters thrown in, and they did well.

Good to see more rezzies playing!Good that we kept a clean sheet 2 and cant remember them having too many chances!?

 

Thought our midfield worked hard esp deacon and parsons?think they use to play together for mid week and maybe rezzies?could form a partnership but i know Gary wraight will return!perhaps for time being keep perfect on left and wriaght and deacon in center?we do have oakes to come back so who will be left out?

 

Is deacon still injured?why he come off?thought he didnt have one of his best games but he works hard like all the youngsters!hoepfully we can lookfoward to the future! NEED A WIN!
