It would certainly be difficult to re-place Simon Sweeney but on the surface it does look like Bates is looking at the right back position.

Well its not Chennels because according to the Windsor (oops sorry) SLOUGH Observer all Windsor players from last season are returning.

So, 3 confirmed are Dominic Rhone (Very good and quick left sided player from AFC Hayes who caused us all kinds of problems last season), along with Dave and Ashley Deeney... Quite excited to be honest! We have lost Steve Sinclair which is a shame as on his day he can tear teams apart but as SB states his game is suited to a higher level. Good luck Sincs, and thank you for your efforts over the last 3 and a bit seasons!

 

With further players on there way, we are well set up to challenge again... Looks like we will set up 3-5-2 again which is a system we all liked and with Ashley Deeney and Dominic Rhone in the wide areas we will have more pace! Hope Danny Murphy doesn't leave as would like to see him in a midfield 3 with Dave Deeney and Swift/Logie/Burgess/or AN Other!
