Seems that some strange goings on are going on at Wembley FC,am sure its just a gimmick but Le Saux,Parlour,Dave Seaman,keown and Claudio fckng Cannigia will be playing for them in the FA Cup this season,the team will be advised by Terry Venables,surely if you were a player playing league football for the club,you wouldnt be too happy although the players will play in the league if selected.

The ground looks completely different from the pictures i have seen with Hendon seemingly out of the picture.

Also ESPN will show all their FA Cup games live,good for those who play them but a slap in the face for those who dont imo

I reckon Parlour could still do a job,agree with dom though,imagine if they got drawn against a decent side 1st round,the league players would be gutted although i would think the ex pros may step aside to give them the chance of the limelight

So, Budweiser, a lead partner of the FA Cup is helping a side to get as far as they can in...the FA Cup. Surely a conflict of interest there.

 

Another chip out of the integrity of the classic game of football. Perhaps we can get Stuart Hall to commentate and perhaps get some of the Royal Family involved. Better yet, we can get each goalkeeper to wear one of those Sumo suits, that'd make it interesting..............

It does seem like the FA are bending over backwards with this project.

It seems like its more of a publicity stunt for the FA Cup than Wembley itself
