Halfway through withdrawal/cold turkey

Not that anybody cares-but i am finding it a bit easier to handle the withdrawal symptons from the lack of proper non league football this summer.

 

Could it be a factor that i was left pretty unstimulated during the last month of last season anyway (and by the lack of 'summer postings' on here-suspect i was not alone)

 

Still-we start afresh shortly ,and have clicked on to the fact that its now only just over 4 weeks until the first friendly.

 

Hopefully that will rekindle some interest -albeit-i feel that its going to take something really special (maybe a long overdue cup run to the second round proper ) this coming season to see the club get followed by anymore than us dwindling die-hards;which should be of concern.

 

Still-i think i can just about manage another 4 weeks of abstinence (maybe it gets easier as you get older ) -get this terrible prima donna euro nonsense out of the way-but then got a bit of tennis and golf to follow which should help me survive until the 17th July; when true to forum dictat -we can all start to put the world that is MFC right

I find it easier having the Euro's on as I dont watch the football normally on tv. I will watch my national team to get my football 'fix' and my son will watch it to see how a team works to learn as he is only 8.

Cant wait fior the new season fixtures to come out so I can plan my year! (sad I know but true)
