Call it being impatient but it would be good to have news of players in rather than players out.

Agreed Derek, though as Wellsie has said until all properly registered with the club we will only announce signings then.

 

I have every faith in Chris to come up with the signings again ready for the new season.

 

Plus dont forget players are usually away somewhere this time of year, sunning themselves so cant always be easily reached.

I'm sure you are right,but we all like a bit of pre-season gossip-most of which is completely wrong and sends us off in the wrong direction.

Regarding the ground, I don't think the club will announce anything until everything is set in stone. We have had too many false starts and the club will want to make a positive announcement. As the saying goes, No news is Good news.

Personaly-i am anticipating rather a long wait (like a decade )-but hope to be proved wrong.

The fact that Cliff stated that the club were back in talks with Travelodge, would suggest that they are interested again, rather than a straight no. Cliff also stated that he believes the delay appears to have had a positive effect, and that he believes that "some things happen for a reason". He would not say what it was but I stil remain confident.

I still like the idea of raising enough money for a cover at the Coffin End. If the development goes ahead we can sell it to another club.

Just looking at the overall impact for club and community a new stadium has had in dartford n Maidstone... Really hope margate can come to agreement in the ground

got a letter from TDC today alerting me to planning applications at Margate Football Club.....confused.com

thought we already had the planning bit? They are using the whole letter (misleadingly) to alert to a change for the parking layout - it looks at first glance like a whole new proposal!
