Faversham sign a few familiar names...

At least they have got a midfield -wilson,sherlock ,gonella.

That given-is it worthy of mention that the players who have left have all gone to lower division teams-cloke,bradbrook, hill.

Now i reckon they were mighty fine players-but are the facts that -good yes-but not good enough to get MFC to upper echelons of the ryman.

because they are 'big/well known players in kent' does not mean they are good enough once you take into account essex, london, suffolk clubs where our knowledge of players is less-but maybe-overall the quality is higher there.

Is there a greater strength/quality of player in essex than kent ?

It seems that recently-the ryman has been won by essex teams.

Now part time players leave because of geography/work commitments-so it may be that in most instances-signing for a lower division team suits these players lifestyle/work/play balance better-which is fine, but to do really well-it does seem that MFC need to attract a `better quality of player.

Can the club attract /afford that type of player though ?

Interesting that we have signedone(possibly two) players from essex teams so far
