From Haringey Borough's Website, no doubt the Club got Pete the Greek's vote for outstanding hospitality:

The Spartan South Midland league AGM took place at Tring Athletics stadium on Saturday 16th June

BOROUGH received the ASSOCIATION OF SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS MATCH OFFICIALS award for the most OUTSTANDING HOSPITALITY provided by the 22 Premier Division Clubs

There were no major surprises. Competitive Fixtures will start on Saturday 11th August – which in practice means that most Clubs will begin the season with their Extra Preliminary Round tie in the FA Cup, unless they receive a bye.

The Premier Division will consist of 22 Clubs – the other 21 being AFC DUNSTABLE, AMPTHILL TOWN (promoted from Division 1) , AYLESBURY UNITED, BERKHAMSTED, BIGGLESWADE UNITED, BROXBOURNE BOROUGH V&E, COLNEY HEATH, DUNSTABLE TOWN, HADLEY, HANWELL TOWN, HAREFIELD UNITED, HERTFORD TOWN, HILLINGDON BOROUGH, HOLMER GREEN, LEVERSTOCK GREEN, LONDON COLNEY (promoted from Division 1), LONDON TIGERS, OXHEY JETS, ST. MARGARETSBURY, STOTFOLD, TRING ATHLETIC

News to me.

I’m assuming that this was done over the course of last season and you gave Haringey Borough top marks for their hospitality on each and every occasion you officiated at Coles Park

Wrong again.

You should stop assuming.

News to me.

So how was it done then out of interest, you said it was news to you, I thought that all the SSML affiliated Officials hospitality marks are accumulated at the end of the season and the Club with the most, ie Haringey Borough, lifts the gong

Generally only Level 4 Referees do Premier Division games and they will mark Clubs on their hospitality. As I only line I cannot give marks on the paperwork.

This is a fact (someone explain the word 'fact' to Rhodes) and not an assumption.

I, therefore, did not give top marks or any kind of marks to Haringey Borough or any Club last season.

Well the plot thickens doesn’t it, how is that particular gong for hospitality awarded then, I thought that Assistants had little boxes on their paperwork whereby, amongst other things, they marked on host Club’s hospitality

What paperwork?

I note that you are now thinking rather than assuming.

Still the same result though.

I’m simply asking how Haringey Borough managed to win the outstanding hospitality award on Saturday as if only Level 4 Referees and above are allowed to mark then it’s not a true reflection or an SSML wide vote is it.

Here's a little clue so that Rhodes can stop thinking.

You missing a vital point Rhodes - all away clubs mark the home clubs for hospitality so one man cannot possible sway the markings.

Yes but the Award was based on Match Officials votes wasn’t it (see above) and not Club Officials, sorry but I’m confused of Tunbridge Wells.

As you can see from the SSML website Haringey Borough were only awarded a certificate, the trophy went to Old Bradwell United.

Hospitality to Officials Trophy – Old Bradwell Utd

Hospitality Certificates – Haringey Borough, Langford, Hoddesdon Town

I'll explain.

Haringey Borough are in the Premier Division.

The Premier Division has Supply League status which means the Referees for these games are predominately Level 4's.

Referees mark the Clubs on Hospitality.

I did not mark any Club last season.

Note: Marks not votes.

Actually, there isn't a mark given on the result sheet for hospitality by the clubs, only by referees. The clubs' marks are for sportsmanship.

On the SSML Referees Report (which I'm staring at this moment) the Referee marks both Clubs out of 100 for their Sportsmanship and the home Club, again out of 100, for their Hospitality.
