The league has been granted Charter Status. Over 60% of member clubs are now charter standard. We need to increase this to 100% over the next two years.

 

Bletchey Town have been forced to withdraw both their teams from the league for the coming season.

 

Following a vote, Winslow Utd will play in Division One.

 

The season start date for Prem and Division One is 11th August - end date 27th April 2013. For Division Two the start date will be 18th August, and either 18th or 25th for the reserve divisions.

Good question one we will never know. However my suspicion is he had made his mind up way before the end of the season and that showed in results, the players knew they had an out. I'm really not sure it's good news I'm not convinced we will get a side together let alone a competitive one. Your thoughts on the Ducks chances this year?

Feeling pretty positive about things at the moment. Assuming we've kept the squad together then we might be in with a shot at the league. Royston are gone, and Dunstable Town are being decimated by Hemel nicking all their players... Should be a very open and exciting season whatever happens!

No disrespect to Craig he did an excellent job, but I think the SSML got this right, Paul led his team to the championship whilst Craig could only finish runners-up.

And there is no doubt whatsoever from what Craig Bicknell has said previously that whilst he is not satisfied with coming second best he would not have accepted the award on that measurement.
