SSML AGM - Saturday 16 June

Tring Army - How much are Tring Athletic's bar takings per year out of interest, a ball park figure will do

And yet on another thread you insist that (my emphasis) :

"Savagebee - Yes but Club's in that position can come across as being greedy if they're not careful, that's all I'm saying,
money isn't the be all and end all is it
"

I doubt club committees are having to draw lots for their members desperate to attend

I thought Hoddesdon always go mob handed, I know Roger, Jane and Jonno have all been in attendance previously

I'm not allowed to go anymore....too "outspoken" apparently...lol

Just to say that this time next Saturday the Tring Athletic bar will be taking a battering, the AGM has come around quickly and I thought that we could have a go at predicting some of the prestigious award winners. Harefield was the best playing surface and I think we (LGFC) will get the Hospitality to Officials award.

That award was made at the 2010 AGM:

A certificate was also presented to Harefield United in recognition of their success in presenting the best Level 5 playing pitch in the entire country.

Leading Goalscorer Award

I assume this award is automatically handed to Matt Newman of London Colney who netted 43 times for the Cotlandswick Club last season or does Kaan Fehmi of Royston and Tom Brindley of Aston Clinton get a say

Karen - What about him, he only scored 34 goals

This either shows you up as a 1st class numpty who has no understanding of the game, or just a prize plonker who will say something is black when everyone says it's white.

Can we have a vote please ?

If we are taking about about LEAGUE goals then the top three in Division One were

Edmund Protien (43), Matt Newman (42) and James Hill (41)

If we take all competitions into account then top three were

James Armstrong (34 SML, 2 LCT, 4 FAC, 2 FAV, 6 Div One Cup, 10 County - Total 58)

James Hill (41 SML, 1 LCT, 4 Div One Cup, 2 County, 2 Others* - Total 50)

Matt Newman (42 SML, 1 FAC, 6 County - Total 49)

* Others are either Cherry Reds Trophy or South Midlands Floodlit Cup)
