Having a hunt around the internet it seems that so far this coming season we have pre-season fixtures lined up against Witham (17th July), Cheshunt and Chelmsford City (24th July).

 

No game against Southend Utd so far it seems...

And i think your fans should do the same to our fans as well,you could also each buy us a pint each,would be a lovely gesture.

 

A pint for each Hornchurch fan? That'll cost about a score then!

did any thought go into the games against hornchurch and especially ricay, think i will give those 2 games a miss surely there were better con south teams to play have they been invited down to taunt us and with ricay how we all stink and are scum

I would say a lot of thought went into them to be honest. Playing against two sides who were good enough to win promotion from the Ryman Prem last season, both of whom we are playing on a Saturday with the potential of them bringing a good number of fans to the match due to them being our Essex-neighbours. Somehow I don't think the friendlies will be quite as highly charged as the league fixtures we have played in the past.

I would have thought that Canvey would be favourites for promotion next season now that that Fat Boy Slim has joined you from Chelmsford.

 

Mind you, he dosn't seem to have left them in a good financial state .

 

Pretty much the same as when he left Canvey for Chelmsford in the first place.
