All quiet on the eastern front ?

' Margate Manager Chris Kinnear expects to be able to make his first announcement about the 2012/13 squad during the week commencing 21st May. In the meantime, he has been in contact with a number of potential signings for the new season'.

Ok-i'm sad and impatient with nothing else to live for-or maybe just interested- and its has got the better of me.

No god given right to anticipate any update-and to be fair-above says expects-not will-so guess patience is called for.

Equally- does not say to whom any announcement may be made-could be to the man in Chris's local !

Just have a gut feel that CK and JL will be working their socks off-but it is proving increasingly difficult to attract players to MFC (hope i'm wrong and in for a surprise)

To be fair-if i recall correctly-CK always kept in close to his chest and was always reticent to announce too much too early-and it usually worked out in the end.

Just have a feeling -we may end up with seeing and subsequently acquiring players via psf's trials as opposed to getting a bit of a squad assembled 'early doors'

By the same token-we know that 3 players have left- i anticipate there may be a few more.

Plenty of time though- 11 weeks to start of new season

LOL!

Yes, lots of work going on - on the playing side and off the pitch - all of which will be announced to supporters first.

The playing side has taken a bit longer than anticiapted, but that is a positive. It's a little but nip and tuck at this time of year with players looking around to weigh up their options as well as managers doing likewise. And, you're right about Chris's approach and as always, the board are supportive of the manager and the approach he wants to take.
