On the Farnborough fc forum,was drawn to some one's posting[Farnborough 1964] under the thread[New signing], that Dave Woozley is rumoured to be leaving Slough Town.

I hope it's not true.

Seems he is still held in high regard at Farnborough,although they don't think he's quite up to their standard now,so I don't think he'll be arriving there !

 

Farnborough seem to be putting a good squad together and have pulled off a great coup getting Alan Inns[ex-Hampton and Richmond and one of Woking's best players last season to sign for 2012-2013. Rumours,too, that Elliot Buchanan may be arriving at Cherrywood Road also .

 

There's a great interview with ex-Slough player Mark Turkington on their messageboard,in which he pays a nice compliment to Slough Town,if any fanphobes like me, are interested.

 

Given that it's all change at Hemel Hempstead.Maybe we're be in with a chance of signing a couple of released players from there or from Bedfont after their sad demise.

See Wilko has joined Dave Anderson at Harrow as coach.Makes our friendly with them interesting,especially if Jacko is stiill in goal?!

I've heard a number of things 3spirit but its all hearsay at the moment...

 

I was told in the week that Woozley was on his way but wasn't told where... St Neots are sniffing around NBH again and Murphy has been approached by Hitchin, all rumours but I can't help but think that we have a number of players who would more than hold their own in the league above or the Blue Square South and will now be sick of the Central division like we all are!

 

Not sure who was playing for Hemel last season, but it wouldn't surprise me if we see Stanislaus and that big target man join from Bedfont! I'd also be in contact with Levi King!

Yes I can believe the rumour re NBH St Neots defensive lynchpin and captain from last season Lewis Webb has left the club and they need to recruit a first class replacement

I see that Farnborough are having a social for forum members on 30th May where they intend to announce a number of new signings and hopefully have several there in the flesh.

Reis Stanislaus is a useful player but weren't we after the Glenn Garner guy from Bedfont? I would like to see Slough go for Oliver Hawkins from Northwood.Seems like he hasn't committed himself to them yet.Wouldn't surprise me to see him turn up at some team like Wealdstone next season.

 

Don't want to see any of our defensive players leave.Danny Murphy is a tremendous asset and the player is quality.I would like to see him play higher up the pitch at times, as a left winger or on the left side of a central midfield three.He is better than a lot of people give him credit.Could easily see why Hitchin would be interested.

 

NBH and Dave Woozley would be big losses but if one is to leave I would prefer it to be Dave Woozley.Perhaps Chris Seeby could be tempted back,as he never played regular when he went back to St Albans. I would like to see a younger centre half cum right back to play alongside experienced heads like Simon Sweeney and NBH/Alex Brown,too.Using Simon as a centre half rather than a right back on occasion.

We need options in defence but the midfield is where we need a total re-build.

Only guessing on Steve Bateman's new recruits!

The thing is, reading the local rag, SB hasn't, as yet, spoken to any of the players to see if they are staying or leaving.

 

For all we know we might not only be looking at a re-building job in midfield but in other areas as well.
