Good to hear such positive news from the AGM. Congratulations to all, especially Dan Butler who has put so much into the club.

 

You can't keep a good man down, as Eddie H showed when he grabbed the front page of the 'Staines & Ashford News' this week.

 

I particularly enjoyed hearing that the financial position has improved, though I am sure the match-free summer months and the never-ending list of things to be done will be a challenge.

 

Given his election as a Director, can we assume the Fit and Proper Person's test has been carried out? If so, can I please have the name of the person who conducted it as I always have problems pulling the wool over people's eyes :) and may need a contact.
