This is good .. however the previous @AFCHornchurch account still exists albeit renamed to @AFCHornchurch_.

 

We really DO NOT want 2 accounts with almost identical names pubishing information relating to AFCH. People will be confused which account is the genuine AFCHornchurch account and, as is often the case with these things the account with the greatest number of follows will be viewed as the genuine one.

 

@AFCHornchurch_ needs to be renamed as it's currently "passing off" to use legalese. Additionally, the bio should be updated to reflect the unofficial nature of the account.

Hesitate to say it but it's all Greek to me. I used to turn off the tv or radio when there were any references to tweets or twitter but looks like i can't stem the tide of "progress" if that's what it's meant to be. What was wrong with pigeons, semaphore, smoke signals or tin cans connected by string for communicating?

There seem to be a few Twitter Accounts knocking around at the moment.

@AFCHornchurch is the Official one,this is the one we have agreed with the club.Any others are not official and we would ask that if possible can any such accounts be renamed to otherwise suggest that they are official accounts please for possible legal reasons,thanks guys

81 followers so far,less than I thought we would have by now but still decent considering we are in the close season.

Would appreciate if any fans could send a tweet out to their followers of something along the lines of :- Follow @AFCHornchurch official twitter feed of AFC Hornchurch for latest club news,please Retweet.

 

Could do it a few times to get the message out
