Couple of pieces of news that might interest some people.

 

Bedfont Town have resigned from the Southern league and most likely will not have a senior mens team next season.

 

Fleet Town look to have been reprieved from relegation.

 

Elliot Buchanan has been released from Newport County.

Maidenhead are also getting excited as Kettering have dropped into the Southern Prem, so their change of a repreive has just increased.

Not Slough Town news I know, but just wanted to share that my adopted 'hometown' club are celebrating moving to a new ground on Saturday July 7th. I have lived in Ashby 40 years on July 13th but everyone in town still knows me as a 'Slough boy'. The club has taken massive steps forwards over the past 7/8 years and hopefully moving to a 'ground' of their own will help them continue to progress.

Like I said, nothing to do with Slough but I thought some of you might be interested in a reasonably 'good news' story.
