Season Tickets 2012/13

Recommended Posts

Not a lot of info so far but here's what we have ...

Season Tickets will be available at the AFCH Supporters' Association AGM on Thursday 7th June. Prices have still to be confirmed.

It is my understanding that we will not be running a Capital League team next season but instead the First Team will play a number of friendlies throughout the season. The Season Ticket will be valid for these games and probably for our home pre-season friendlies too.

The aim is to make the Season Ticket very good value for money. In this way we hope to increase the takeup.

Postal applications will be offered and a PDF Application Form will be made available. However, the best, and easiest, route will be to apply at the Club.

When I know more so shall you!

Okay guys .... here's the scoop ....

Club Admission Prices for Season 2012/13

Adult £ 11.00

Concession £ 7.00

U 16's £ 3.00

U 11's Free

Season Ticket Prices

Adult £190.00

Concession £120.00

U 16's £40.00

U11's will not require a Season Ticket as they have free entry anyway.

The U16's price has been frozen at £40 to encourage/attract young supporters.

Season Tickets will be valid for;-

All home Pre-Season Friendlies

All home BSB South League games

All home County Cup games

All home First Team Friendlies throughout the season

A Season Ticket offers a great saving when you think it will probably cover at least thirty games. There are some juicy pre-season friendlies being arranged too. When the arrangements are FIRM the details of all friendly matches will be posted on here.

Hands up if you have any questions.

Do U11 and U16 include 11 and 16 year olds respectively?

(i.e. At a recent meeting we had discussed/agreed free entry for those AGED 11 AND UNDER as we had issued free season tickets for this age group last year (on the basis that the eldest primary school kids are normally 11))

At this time of encouraging New Fans i'm a bit surprised at £2 hike in admission.

£10 is so much easier. Especially at big games.

I also think the season Ticket is Excellent Value. Only £10 increase with more games.

I would have charged £200.

Not slagging anyone off, just giving a fans view.

Just confirmed with Colin .....

The £3.00 entry or the £40 Season Ticket applies to 12 to 16 year olds so I should not have said U16's

Free entry applies to children who are 11 years old or younger so again I should not have said U11's

Colin has confirmed that children under 11 do not need to be accompanied by an adult. If they are troublesome they will be ejected from the ground (as would anyone of any age).

Colin will attend the AFCH Supporters'Association AGM where Season Tickets will be available for purchase.

Cash is king but if you prefer a cheque then it should be made payable to 'AFC Hornchurch 2005 Limited'.

A postal Application Form will be available after the AGM

Cheers

John

Sid, Thanks for confirming re 11 & 16 year olds

(one of the reasons for saying that 11 & unders should be accompanied by an adult is due to the revenue we would get from the parents - other main reason was that (IMO) we should not want kids of this age to be there on their own)

I can see both sides of the arguement re young kids.

I think last season it was all about getting the average gate up,which we managed by around 60.

While I can see the benefit of adults accompanying children, unfortunatly not every child can count on an adult, dad may work, may not have an uncle/older brother etc, then it would IMO seem a little bit unfair to let one in for nothing and another one pays.

As we are back in connie south, everything will be trial and error, this will be one of those things. If it is policed by the stewards/fans it should be ok,also it should be upto the majority of parents to ensure they come with their kids or to at least know where they are

Personally I agree with you but that's the decree from the Chairman. Sitting on the Riverside last season our enjoyment was spoiled on a few occasions by groups of kids running up and down, shouting and screaming at each other, with obviously no interest in the game at all. However, I am told that such behaviour will not be tolerated next season and offenders will be ejected from the ground. I imagine we will require more matchday stewards next season who will keep an eye on behaviour.

Not sure how many games are played before January, but some reduced priced season tickets as Christmas Presents might be an idea.

I think Kids should be warned of behaviour before being ejected or encouraged to join the Eastside.

Perhaps we should look at certain songs that encourage swearing.

I know i'll get slaughtered for that comment, but i've always been a supporter of my clubs.

Not a great lover of songs against other clubs or persons.

Man U are a prime example. They should get behind their team instead of singing Anti Man City, Liverpool and Leeds songs.

One of the things we talked about at our last committee meeting was stewarding of games next season. We obviously need more help from fans in this area.

While in an ideal world there would be a zero tolerance on swearing in grounds,it is nigh on impossible to police in a terraced area, especially when busy.

It would however be easier to police in the seating area.

Would it not be possible to keep the main riverside seating area for season ticket holders or ticket holders, you could issue tickets to those people using the stand at no cost and just have someone checking tickets, within a few games you would pretty much only need to police it before games.

As for singing,we need new songs and some of ours probably do swear too much if we want to get kids involved more.

You let me off lightly there Rob.

But i wouldn't expect Zero tolerance on Swearing.

Didn't we get complaints from away Directors at some stage?

As a club we should perhaps look at our image through the eyes of other clubs.

We are a family club. The supporters are our Ambassadors.

One only has to look at Grimsby away to see the respect we got from their fans at the support we gave our club.

Apart from on here is the season ticket info published anywhere else. Just looking for somewhere we can link to the information from Facebook/Twitter etc.

Club website is the obvious place but as that's work in progress do we have anywhere else .. AFCH SA website for instance?
