Much as it hurts me,I would have to agree with Nice Guy on this, strange is it not that the Season just gone cost £250k.Exactly a third of the amount that was bandied about in the National Press as sponsorship from Sporting Bet over 3 years,When I used to fundraise for a local Charity, was told by a Baroness that it was always best to spend every penny that you raised, because then you could show there was a need.If you underspent you could have your money cut,and had no chance of getting any more.Unfortunately it is very hard to get it exactly dead on,so it was always a few pounds over.Suggest they renegotiate their Airline and Hotel arrangements,Premier Inns do a great deal £29 for an overnight stay,As for charging £7 that is equivilent to £8.40p in the U.K.when VAT is added, the highest at step 5,I believe.Remember this saying H.K.P.,never con a conner, never kid a kidder.

Steady Smudgeyboy, what you agree with me.... !

What I find intriguing is that you know the cost of Premier Inn's overnight deal......are saying, or hiding something held within your deepest secrets that you cannot tell us....... :D !!

Exactly Smudgeyboy, how strange is it that Guernsey spent £250.000 this season which is exactly a third of the Sporting bets 3 year deal of £750,000..............mmmnn.interesting.....coincidence perhaps.....

What is it with these ''so called'' big clubs.......... ;) !!!

Premier Inns widely advertise their £29 a night deal, courtesy of Lenny Henry............... HOWEVER...............

There are loads of terms and conditions that apply. I have this on very good authority from an employee of the said company.

Hold up HKP Sporting Bet have put up £750,000 sponsorship over 3 years it has been said to pay for travel, kits etc., so not as doom and gloom as one would make out.

That is a myth. The sponsorship is now way near as high as that.

Of the clubs who do actually sell Season Tickets, I would have thought £100.00 would be enough to entice the supporter to purchase a season ticket 'cos of the saving of £26.00 overwise really whats the point, so you could image what a bargain £75.00 was this season gone, so is it any wonder supporters are moaning, but on the other hand they have to be realistic as well tho' !

if you buy a season ticket then you save £1.05 per home League game, plus you can buy a ticket for Cup games and friendlies, some if rumours are correct are going to be pretty good.

Im not complaing one bit by the way. Happy to pay £125 per season to watch GFC.

One has to remember that the club is not being run at a profit.

WHAT ! Oh no not another Windsor please..... ;) !

Sorry HKP I find that hard to believe ! I am sure Guernsey FC would not contemplate running a football club whilst not making a profit with the support and sponsorship they get. If there is no profit, then someones pocketing the money !!!

Okay if £750,000 over 3 years is a myth was is the Sportingbet sponsorship then? Whilst I cannot be bothered nor have the time, I recall this amount being stated on this site on a different thread, read elsewhere as factual information and wasn't this amount mentioned at the CCL AGM to convince that Guernsey can substantiate the travelling expenses ?,

All sounds very strange HKP :o !!!

What I meant was that as a Comminiuty Club the Directors, players are not getting paid so any profit would stay with the club and be spent on whatever needs spending on.

The actual sponsorshop figure has never publically been revealed. if you believe in what the national Press tell you then your a bigger fool then I thought. There are only two things I trust in a paper, the price on the cover and the date.
