Next season a GFC season ticket for the Garenne Stand will cost £125 (so £5.95 per match) and individual match day admission prices will be Garenne Stand seats - £7, ground standing - £5, and U16s standing - £1

Having taken all things in to consideration I have decided against purchasing a season ticket for the Garenne Stand

Do ccl clubs change thier price due to the opponents like pro clubs.eg spurs v man u is more expensive than spurs v WBA.

Same Price at DFC all season.

Last Season, £6/£3. Children under 15 accompanied by an adult, free.

We haven't discussed this coming season yet !

How much do other CCL Premier clubs charge for a season ticket that covers all home league games, either for the season just gone or next season?

There is no VAT in Guernsey as we are not part of the UK. No local equilavent either, but there is a Goods and Service Tax in the other island. c. 5%

I have heard a few mutterings locally about people moaning about the increase in price, last season was £75, but that was not a sustainable price. It costs £4,000 in travel costs alone for every home match, plus the hire of the stand and all the other expenses. It was in the last programme that last season it cost £250,000 for the season. The season tickets bring in £90,000 of that.

There are around 70 seats in the stand still available for sale, so I would guess all of those would go to new Season Ticket holders before the season starts. There is a new small stand but sadly no roof! So bring your brolly.

You planning on a visit? I would hope that the club Travel Agent (Travel Solutions) would look to put some offers on for visiting fans inc. Groundhoppers.

£75 is far too cheap and if Guernsey supporters want to feel part of the National Leagues system they will have to get used to the exorbitant prices charged on the UK mainland. What is it at the gate? We've been charging £8 for the last couple of years and I just don't know whether our Chairman will be inclined to reduce it.

Aren't they all millionaires in Guernsey or is that Jersey?

Has anyone play the theme from Bergerac over the tannoy when/if Guernsey visit. That would rankle.

Both islands have very poor people to millionaires just like anywhere else in the world. Its a myth that everyone in the Channel Islands are millionaires !

If anyone played the Bergerac theme it wouldn't bother us in the slightest !

Hold up HKP Sporting Bet have put up £750,000 sponsorship over 3 years it has been said to pay for travel, kits etc., so not as doom and gloom as one would make out.

Most, infact all CCL Prem clubs charge £6.00 admission per adult x 21 league games = £126.00 per season should one attend every game, be it in a seated covered stand or in the open. For Guernsey to charge £125.00 season ticket has no benefit for the supporter whats so ever......a saving of £1.00 !!! Not sure how £7.00 entrance would go down with the other CCL Prem clubs as Guernsey will probably the most expensive in the league ! I am not too sure if there is a maximum limit CCL Prem clubs can charge for admission ?

ALL CUP games are a separate entity and have to pay admission on the day. *Usually Cup games are not included in the season ticket.

Of the clubs who do actually sell Season Tickets, I would have thought £100.00 would be enough to entice the supporter to purchase a season ticket 'cos of the saving of £26.00 overwise really whats the point, so you could image what a bargain £75.00 was this season gone, so is it any wonder supporters are moaning, but on the other hand they have to be realistic as well tho' !

That is a myth. The sponsorship is now way near as high as that.

if you buy a season ticket then you save £1.05 per home League game, plus you can buy a ticket for Cup games and friendlies, some if rumours are correct are going to be pretty good.

Im not complaing one bit by the way. Happy to pay £125 per season to watch GFC. One has to remember that the club is not being run at a profit.

That would be very funny. great idea!

or worse would be to play the Jersey national anthem by mistake... We have our own (often song at away matches) and the other lot have Island Home

WHAT ! Oh no not another Windsor please..... ;) !

Sorry HKP I find that hard to believe ! I am sure Guernsey FC would not contemplate running a football club whilst not making a profit with the support and sponsorship they get. If there is no profit, then someones pocketing the money !!!

Okay if £750,000 over 3 years is a myth was is the Sportingbet sponsorship then? Whilst I cannot be bothered nor have the time, I recall this amount being stated on this site on a different thread, read elsewhere as factual information and wasn't this amount mentioned at the CCL AGM to convince that Guernsey can substantiate the travelling expenses ?,

All sounds very strange HKP :o !!!

Much as it hurts me,I would have to agree with Nice Guy on this, strange is it not that the Season just gone cost £250k.Exactly a third of the amount that was bandied about in the National Press as sponsorship from Sporting Bet over 3 years,When I used to fundraise for a local Charity, was told by a Baroness that it was always best to spend every penny that you raised, because then you could show there was a need.If you underspent you could have your money cut,and had no chance of getting any more.Unfortunately it is very hard to get it exactly dead on,so it was always a few pounds over.Suggest they renegotiate their Airline and Hotel arrangements,Premier Inns do a great deal £29 for an overnight stay,As for charging £7 that is equivilent to £8.40p in the U.K.when VAT is added, the highest at step 5,I believe.Remember this saying H.K.P.,never con a conner, never kid a kidder.
