i dont necessarily think it was a good title race its better when theres 4 or 5 in the mix both the manc clubs were 20 points clear of nearest rivals an im definetly not northern so not a fan of either

 

Sorry Newbs I have to disagree with you there, its not the Manchester club's fault that the other clubs are so far behind in the title race, what do you want them to do, lose a few games to make the league more interesting ! You cannot have a more interesting league with the top 2 switching places 'cos losing against inferior teams. I've just experienced that with 30 seconds to go in the final Barclays Premier game and STILL the Champions were not decided.... thats amazing stuff and certainly down to the wire ! Would you prefer the title race be finished/finalised in January/February like the CCL Premier normally is ...LOL!

 

I believe it was either Owen Coyle or Mick McCarthy who sumed it up saying that the league positions were almost in line with each clubs playing budget, and to be honest bar a few alterations here and there he could well be right.....its all relative right down to semi- pro grass roots level.

Dont think it was quite as exciting as when Arsenal went to Anfield in 1989 and won two nil with a goal in the last minute to win the League on goals scored.

granted its a good finish for fans but i think its more exciting when you have a few that can win it going into final few games its been a fore gone conclusion that either of the mancs would win it weeks ago it was more exciting being round a qpr household seeing them going from relegated to staying up then praying stoke held out bolton

Wasn't really bothered to be honest, I just think that against all adversity QPR made the last day game very exciting, and for that I thank them. Slightly better than the Thomas goal for Arsenal at Liverpool..... 'cos there was longer to go then, Sundays game literally had 30 seconds on the clock, talk about leaving it late ! But fantastic enjoyment...
