I must say how two faced footy people are in general.

So may people say football has been ruined by money and those same people have ben banging on this afternoon how great it was.

Just admit that you all think it's great and your contribution is killing the game as a result.

I agree with you about the money and how the game has gone, but if you are a football fan it's difficult not to get excited by the last 25 minutes of the games today.

 

Anyway, most exciting result of the weekend was yesterday lunchtime. Just praying the Terriers don't balls it up in the 2nd leg ;)

Jetz I never said that money ruins our lovely game, I said no Kroonntz said, that the team with the biggest budget would/should win the league as proven today. Sheikh Mansoor paid off Man City debts of only £305 MILLION ! He has earmarked a total of £500 MILLION in transfers, so if a amanger of a decent quality cannot get a winning team with that typre of budget then he needs to be looked at seriously, thats the pressure of the job ! The expectancy is enormous not to fail and they didn't by 30 secpnds !

 

Its all relative throughout the leagues from grass roots semi-pro upto the Barclays Premier that a budget pays a massive part in a clubs success whether we like it or not (ie) Man City, Chelsea but that isn't always the case tho'! Some call it buying the league, some say its good fortune, so you make your own minds up !

Was told yesterrday that Whitehawk budget was £3000 a-week ! Did they win the Ryman Div 1South league ?

 

From grass roots to Barclays Premier sorry to say its all relative.....!

 

The most ludicrous thing though is that the are installing thousands of seats from Withdean while attracting crowds of 100-120.

 

And yes they won R1S paying out a great deal less than Croydon Athletic to do the same.

I dont support either of these teams but I did jump off my seat when Citeh scored to snatch the title away from Taggart.

 

Man City have spent a mad amount of money, but then every team apart from Arsenal who have won the Premier League have always "brought" the title. Sadly its just the way football is.

 

In the recent Manchester derby, the Man Utd starting 11 cost more to assemble than the Man Citeh one...

As a man utd fan yesterday was a nightmare. I have felt gutted in football but never like i have when on 92 mins they still need 2 goals. It shouldn't happen and will haunt me for life. Guess that's why we all love football. My wife came In laughed and told me to 'stop being silly its only a bloody game' i made her sleep on the sofa

I'm a City fan and I thought they had put me through enough over the years, but yesterday took it to new levels even for them!!!

To win it in "Fergie Time" made it all the more sweeter..........I still can't get the smile off my face :D !!

Apart from the obvious, lets not forget QPR take on this game, after all if it weren't for them, who apparently were going to get slaughtered, maybe the game wouldn't, infact definitely wouldn't have been so exciting, 2 efforts on target 2 goals 100 % ratio !

 

Lets us be honest other than QPR supporters, the way they parked the bus and lets be fair they did really well battling the onslaught, no-one thought they had a earthing of a chance so well done to them for making it a nerve wrecking finale spectacle !

 

Injury time 5 mins. Aguero's goal recorded atn 44 mins and 30 seconds.....amazing stuff !

i dont necessarily think it was a good title race its better when theres 4 or 5 in the mix both the manc clubs were 20 points clear of nearest rivals an im definetly not northern so not a fan of either
