I'm going to the Vase Final at Wembley today

 

I expect to be in a pub near the stadium about 1 o'clock.

 

Any other forumites going fancy meeting for a beer?

Only 5000 spectators !... when you consider the record for FA Vase is 36,232 Truro vs AFC Totten in 2007..... maybe a sign of the times !

I was at the Truro v Totton game, only 5 years ago and it cost £15.

 

Could've bought a ticket on the gate today - £25.

 

The Truro game was one of the first games at Wembley, so would've had a lot of casuals turning up for a first viewing. Also both clubs didn't have so far to come (well maybe Truro did!)

 

If entry had been £15 today, i'd have gone. Attendance probably would've been 10,000 or more. I bet the normal entry for the finalists today is no more than £5 or £6. It's ridiculous that they have to pay 4 to 5 times that just because it's the Vase final.

 

£30 for the Trophy yesterday. I'd like to have gone to that but not for £30. £20 and I probably would have.
