Going up merchandise

Worth mentioning that through our flag business we have relationships with a number of UK and far eastern companies who we use to manufacture our enamel badges, button badges, keyrings, fridge magnets, and embroidered patches. We can easily get quotes for any AFCH specific merchandise if required.

 

The same manufacturers also do bottle openers, tie clips, golf divot tools, lanyards, zip pulls and silicon wristbands. We don't stock any of these but we can still enquire.

 

As a rule, the minimum order quantity will be around the 200 mark.

200 may be a problem in terms of some merchandise.With an average of 300 in terms of attendance that's some selling to do.

Especially as I think the club shop we have at the moment is really not doing the job it could do.This is mainly our fault as a committee,I think we rushed getting the container,when in fact it's dingy and not appealing.I pray we can go back to the original club shop,if this could happen then I think we could really push the merchandising on a bit,the fact is,some people just don't like going into a shipping container.

Hmmm, yes I can see the problem. For some items (possibly the patches, button badges and keyrings) we may be able to get the minimum qty down - I'll talk to the suppliers.

They used to supply trophies for our Man Of The Match award and advertise in the programme.
