Going up merchandise

Recommended Posts

Big one for me is club shirts and scarf- , great advertising on match day walking to the ground. How many of the 1000 or so were wearing them at the play offs?. Not enough I'd say. Poor if we are honest.

For me the current club shop isnot good enough.. Merchandise needs to be prominently displayed.

Simple answers are the best.

Obis you are right, however we have to have the stock to advertise.

The fact is we have been let down by the kit supplier, the club need to sort this,am sure they are doing so but you are right in that it's a cracking way to advertise the fact that there's a game on that day.

With regards to the club shop.I think in hindsight we the committee maybe rushed into buying that container.Personally I feel having the old club shop back would be better but not sure this could ever happen,if it could though I believe it would solve alot of our problems as it's ideal

Those latest red and white scarves are pretty grim. Can't we get those home/away reversible ones again, like what I wear?

t-shirt with a going up design on ( to go with the one im hopefully getting for southend at the end of may ) as for next season a good stock of home shirts would be a must and would look even better with blue square patches on the sleeve :)

Personally,i wouldn't touch last seasons supplier with a barge pole.We are better than that but they have promised us that they will fulfill our needs so its them again. Can't help feeling that they can only fck up but thats our problem.

Saying that, other suppliers are just as bad so maybe they will be ok this year.

Don't think we have to unless we entered into an agreement with them, saying that, that's probably been broken a few times.

If you read the Connie south forum there's a few clubs on there who are complaining about various other suppliers all giving the same problems

Our one is local so if they get it right then it's nice and easy but kits for me represent more than just making a few quid, they can alert people to the fact there is a game on.

I would say to the supplier that we want a certain amount of shirts by 1st july,if they can't do it then look for another supplier immediately but these are just my views
