I guess I had better start a thread on pre-season friendlies in the next day or two (cue Karen to beat me to it) as I see from this link that they're already being arranged thick and fast such as London Lions v Fisher on 30 June, London Lions v Aveley on 14 July, London Lions v Hertford Town and St Margaretsbury v Harlow Town on 21 July and Hertford Town v Harlow Town and London Lions v Sawbridgeworth Town on 28 July:

Do you think you are up to doing a proper job on it Rhodesy? Your work has been a bit shoddy and unreliable in the past, wouldn't it be better to leave it to a professional like Karen?

Keeps - So what is the Herts Charity Shield then if it's not predominantly a pre-season 'friendly' competition, I'm sure the Club's winning through could do without the latter stages being completed later in the season and aren't really that interested.

You total d1ckhead - The clubs are invited to enter the competition, they can refuse.

My own club missed out this year due to there being more than 16 teams accepting and the 16 entrants were decided upon league finishing positions.
