In the "on this day " feature on todays home page we are shown as losing 4-0 to Tilbury when in fact we won by this score!

That's a very sad amount of knowledge...........I'm impressed!!

No, I think he just clicked on the link and saw "unknown" score 4 goals for Tilbury, yet Bartlett, Brown and an Own Goal score 0 goals for Slough!

 

There's obviously been a slight typo in the database; bound to happen on such a big project!

As an update I've created an On This Day page - http://www.sloughtownfc.net/on-this-day - which shows the complete list on a day by day basis. In due course it's planned that this page will show other pieces of information.

Things like this happen particularly with cup finals where the venue may have been 'neutral' but the database either recognised it as home or away, so the score is reversed. There are many many more, believe me. This is being worked on on a season-by-season basis where information is available, so watch this space.

It really is excellent work chaps. My favourite article in the programme is always on this day (hotly followed by yours Warren) so to have that on the site with all that wealth of knowledge from the database is great. Good stuff

The information is excellent in general so thanks and well done to all. I can confirm that we won this won 4-0 as I was there. At Church Rd Hayes as I recall and it was a very one sided game. Can't remember much more though.
