thank you wivenhoe and romford. massive credit to everyone behind the scenes at the Town, this promotion is for you really.

 

tough luck on Needham, and i am sure they woudl have got promoted without the injury to Sam Newsom. the game was played (and reffed) in the right spirit. very nervous and tense, but apart from the penalty shout and offside goal they hardly threatened. why is it semi finals always have the better atmosphere?

too mentally exhausted too write more.......

That was worth coming 12,000 miles for - to see the club get a new ground and then promoted.

 

Absolutely brilliant today, if somewhat nerve wracking in the last 20 or so minutes.

 

Three season high crowds in a row for the entire league speaks volumes.

 

Congratulations to the Board for their vision, to all the volunteers who made the new ground possible, to the manager and his staff and to the entire squad who did Enfield proud.

 

Only three more promotions and we will be in the Football League!!!

WE ARE GOING UP!!

 

What a season! Just a massive nod to all the people behind the scenes whom brought football in Enfield back from the brink in 2001 and started off on the roped off Downs Pitch against Brimsdown Rovers in that friendly. How far have Enfield Town come from then? Football in Enfield is back in the Ryman Premier!! How good does that sound?

 

Just editing the highlights together now... think some people will be waking up with sore heads in the morning...

 

Already really looking forward to next season already! As people have stated Margate, Hastings United, Bognor Regis Town, Whitehawk amongst others.

 

WELL DONE TO EVERYONE INVOLVED AT THE CLUB. ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT!
