Woodford on Monday

As already stated on the other thread the twice postponed match against Woodford is to be played on Monday 7th May at 3pm.

 

This is to fulfill our League obligations and whilst there seems little point, we have to play.

 

As Mark says, any support will be welcomed as ever. If you are able please come and support the Rebels.

Barton Rovers v Chertsey 2pm KO. Think yourself lucky you dont have to play Saturday on Fa Cup final day. Barton Rovers would only agree a 2pm kick off to supposedly allow everyone to be able to watch the fa cup final. Well im hoping I can do 60 miles home in my transit in under an hour!!!! Otherwise i will be missing it. Chertsey suggested 12.30pm or 1pm but to no avail. A proper pointless league match anyway!!!

Sorry, nothing to do with the Rebels players but I can't get ANY motivation to drive a 150 mile round trip to watch a totally meaningless game where both teams will play either kids or second teamers or first teamers who don't give a [****!!****]. I understand we have to play but the Southern League should be embarrassed for making this decision.

 

I'd have advocated putting out the supporters team and losing massively just to show them how stupid a decision this is.
