Maybe in the Suburban League or Southern Youth League, but a Step Five League not finishing its fixtures would be very rare.

Chessington have finished in a relegation position.

Have to say that Hanworth were really up for the game and a third placed finish.

Sweeping move for the opening goal on 39 seconds then two more before the 20 minute mark.

Chessington battled hard all night but the game was summed up by several last ditch blocks by Villa defenders throughout the game, and even in the last seconds, where they refused to concede.

Levi King was quality all evening (his chip over the keeper near the end oozed class) while Adam Baigent looks a solid centre half to me.

Despite concerns re the heavy pitch, it played better than Dorking's did on Tuesday evening.

We will have to wait and see regarding any relegations from the Premier Division this season now.

 

Cobham beat South Kilburn 3-1 in front of, I am told, a paying attendance of 1 !!!!

 

Finally, the new surface at Wibbandune looks better every week and not a puddle to be seen despite a month of solid rain.
