Recommended Posts

i know this is not strictly CCL business, but I thought it would be useful for ex-pats and possible others to know that this year's Muratti Final is being streamed live on Channel TV's website at www.channelonline.tv Kick off is 2pm.

Just that one is an FC game and the other is an FA game.

I just thought that GFC may have been more important by now. Obviously not.

Depends on who you speak to, those that dislike GFC will say Monday is more important, others will say be good to win both! :)

Guernsey win 2-0,pitch was not great. But did not need to get out of second gear.WELL DONE GUERNSEY

Unfortunately I couldn't make the game so I watched it on the net. You are right Smudge It was a very comfortable 2-0 win. Probably a few tired legs after Friday nights 120mins as well.

What an amazing first season we have had. This is the icing on the cake.

Just as a matter of interest, how do Jersey compare to the 1st division sides or Colliers Wood,Egham etc.

It is sad to report that there was a bit of trouble after the match, bottles thrown by the disgruntled Craupaud fans. Sadly this is a regular occurrence in that Island.

It also looked like objects were thrown from the crowd at the Guernsey 'keeper. This does seem to happen every year. Unfortunately the Jersey Police Force just stand there and watch.

On yesterday's showing Jersey were poor, but they made Ross Allen look ordinary.

Dont think he was 100% fit, certainly was not fit enough for the final on Friday night. Just shows we can score goals even if our star striker is off colour.

Going by yesterday's game, they are not as good as Colliers Wood United who were tougher opponents!
