Slough v Sycob? against Bedworth.

If,and it's a very big IF,Slough manage to turn over Beaconsfield.I hope Steve Bateman has a contingency plan for Bedworth,as they've outclassed us in both matches in the league so far and torn us to shreds with their fast flowing football. We need to adopt a different strategy if we play them.

The two times we've played Beaconsfield, our 4-4-2 and 3-5-2 has been adequate to cope with them and SYCOB are beatable but Bedworth are a different kettle of fish and so I believe that we must counteract them by changing our usual shape and not using wingers. If we can shore up our defence we can catch them out on the break, something that we never try to do,and also play a tight game defensively but with a very attack minded, offensive team.

Of course,if we don't beat Beaconsfield,it won't matter!

My team against Beaconsfield would be a 4-4-2 of:-

Warrington

Sweeney Brown NBH Woozley

Anderson Coyne Swift Murphy

Burnell Sonner

My team against Bedworth would start in the shape of 4-2-3-1 :-

Warrington

Sweeney Brown NBH Murphy

Logie Woozley

Anderson Coyne Swift

Sonner

What do other Slough fans think?
