whilst i have zilch interest in football above league one level-i am advised that Spain and their countryman team called barcelona are quite good sides.

 

I also read that they are now playing 'strikerless' in alot of games (seem to recall they did something similar v scotland a few months ago ) and see the merits of gaining absolute control of midfield-nice to read they have been taking notice of me.

 

It seems Spain favour 4-6-0 and in the world club championship,Barcelona played 3-7-0.

 

Now i would'nt expect CK to play 7 in midfield (nice though that would be ) but hopefully next season he will play with more than one player in central midfield.

 

Control the midfield and most times you win the game-strikers just convert what the midfield serves up..
