Just want to say the players have been tremendous this season. Last night I have to say we were controlling the game until Neil got sent off and then we had to really dig deep for 55 mins. The back four were solid and nothing was going to pass them .

We should have had 2 stonewall penalties one in the first and one in the second, even some of the Totternhoe lads couldn't believe how they were not given. Shame about the comments from a certain SML official about our celebrations after the final whistle can't really see the problem with celebrating and singing champions , and apologies to Totternhoe if you were offended.

Rhodes- I'm sure you had a soft spot for Padbury as you alway bring them up. It was a step further for us as well as we won the League 5 years ago and the cup 2 years ago so doing both in one season is brilliant.

Yeah well done mate, great achievement, some good sides in Division 2 and as Rhodes says we couldn't even do last season what you've managed so top draw.

Coincidentally last seasons Division 2 Cup Final between The 61 FC and, Padbury United’s Semi Final conquerers, Winslow United was played at Ampthill Park, how apt had Padbury been in that final, as Greavsie once said it’s a funny old game!

Don't think it will ever happen mate, I've seen the job is being advertised for Winslow Manager on the SML newsletter.Also noticed the write up for our final, something tells me a certain editor doesn't like us after our celebrations didn't even mention our goalscorer other then him being sent off!!

Shame when people are like that. Why shouldn't you celebrate especially after a superb season. Yeah job is being advertised had some interesting responses already, committee are looking for someone with a clear plan of what they want to achieve and how. Obviously I'm biased but it's a good job for someone with good local knowledge and contacts the committee are very supportive and facilities continue to be improved. Fingers crossed we can get someone in and have them in place forte next five seasons or so.
