No get out of jail card needed at Dorking this year!!!!!

Sorry to be a pain to all you kill joys but the mighty Dorking pull a top draw result out of the bag and have secured Premier league football even Ray Collins looked happy. 11 games ago after loosing 9-0 a new management team was put in place new players coming in is always hard but the lads have responded well and picked up 17 points to make us safe. A great result tonight although i must say at 5-0 up we didnt have a clue what to say at half time!!!!!!!!

Cocked up the predict a score sorry lads!!!!!! next year under the new management of Glynn Stephens the club hopefully can look to push on and upwards.

Special note to Simon Coffey(he is the stroppy one in the dugout) for guiding the under 18s to a league title.

Also did anyone notice The Spurs Fan had a female guest nice one mate!!!!!!!!!!!!

Makes a change for Dorking to be able to watch the last couple of games with a beer in hand rather than a smelly bum!!!!!!!!!!! roll on next year!xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

at two nil up early on, I was still concerned . five up and I was happy but the goals kept flying in.

 

there will be 8 or so sides within a point or two of each other and the side that goes down will be unlucky to go down on so many points.

It seems every one knows now and agrees what needs to happen at Dorking, and that result means we can get on and do it.

 

 

I would say my "female guest" knows her football, but she's an arsenal fan......

It was a great evening, indeed ! Jan and I have only just recovered.

 

South Park, Colliers Wood and Chessington were all represented in the bar, (which did very well !) Even a couple of Leatherhead supporters came along to watch and chat.

 

Absolutely lovely to share a glass or three with Chris Clapham, listening to his, sometimes very dry, comments on the match.

 

The only blot on on the evening was the appearance of a non-invited, non-paying personage who came, 'Just to have a look round, and take some photo's !!'
