I would say that the pitch is the least of your worries. There is a bit of wear and tear in the 6 yard box but I know that every effort is being made to ensure that it is as good as it can be.

Nervy start from both teams but we took an early lead from the spot. Looked comfortable and dangerous on the break and decisive moment came when we produced a lovely move and hit the post. If that had gone in who knows. Warlingham hit an equaliser 10 minutes from half time.

Second half was all Warlingham at the start and poor defending from us allowed them to go into a 3-1 leaad. We hit back 10 minutes from time and i sensed it could be back on as the Wars players were going down with cramp etc. However our inabillity to defend cost us again. Man of the match went to the lad who hit 2 but for me I would have given it to Joseph who we just couldnt control all match. Fully deserved victory and well done to Warlingham.

Lovely pitch at Windsor and a fine consolation for us in the form of a ost match chicken curry in the clubhouse. Despite my beloved Hammers reaching Wembley i'm still gutted this morning but our players who hopefully learn from this and come back stronget next year.

Hope the Warlingham guy is ok who got taken away in the ambulance

Non League Nigel, glad you enjoyed both the pitch and the curry, I've got some more for my dinner tonight LOL.

No news yet on the old fella that collapsed but I'm sure someone from Warlingham will post as soon as they have some news.

That was my first view of Division One football this season and I was impressed with the way both teams tried to play a passing game - it's a shame someone has to lose but your lads contributed towards a good game.
