Will they still have a decent budget will depend on how many players stay they were paying alot of money still to go down

Rearrange these words to form a sentence.

Hit a nerve

You may have done had I actually understood what you were going on about. If, as I suspect, you think we were paying a lot of money out for a team to be relegated then that's true for the very last period of the season. The budget was increased (from virtually nothing) with a starting point of being 12 points adrift. We clawed this back to even points until we dropped points at Crawley Down while Burgess Hill somehow contrived to get three points against Whitstable and Dulwich Hamlet respectively. Not really sure if that answers your question or not.Carthorse - I would look forward to a trip to Horley again. We had a friendly down at the New Def a couple of years ago which was very enjoyable.

Great spreadsheet

Its easy to see why they are looking at getting rid of the UCL though, as there clearly aren't enough step five standard clubs in that area. Long Buckby have dropped just 12 points all season and Kings Lynn 14. How bad must the bottom clubs be in that league?

So its all down to clubs folding then, if 12 are coming up. Whyteleafe require three to fold (as do C & H, Dorking or Colliers Wood). It also serves as a reminder that the day is not too far away when a Champion club from Step Five will not go up because there are 14 eligible Champions and only 12 spaces. In a competitive league like ours, that means that the Champion club might be one of ours next season unless the FA reorganisation goes through. WHICH IT MUST.

Smudge, don't know what you are going on about regarding where any step three relegated clubs are situated. It makes no difference. It's all down to points coefficient, and then the FA will allocate geographically (with exception of some clubs who can't be moved because they were moved in the previous year apparently).

I believe the spreadsheet to which you refer will show Fleet Town and Harrogate Railway being ahead of us in the "AGM Cup" ranking. Ware could join them if they beat Waltham Forest in their final R1N match. However, Woodley Sports have I believe been demoted from the EvoStik North (no doubt to new manager Peter Withe's chagrin) and their FA appeal already thrown out. I'm not holding out too much hope of a reprieve but there will no doubt be further changes taking place in the next few weeks/months before 2012/13 leagues are finalised. As far as we are concerned it's in the lap of the gods.

Translation For Lee Farmie.

WILL THEY STILL HAVE A DECENT BUDGET?

WILL IT DEPEND ON HOW MANY PLAYERS STAY?

Because they were paying a lot of money, still to go down.

Look on the brightside though at least this Forum, is head and shoulders above the Rymans one,if only the print was larger,it would be decent.

Obviously a "decent budget" is subjective but I'd like and would expect to be more competitive on the pitch than we were for the bulk of this season whichever league we end up in - assumed to be CCL Prem at present.

To answer the second question, I can't see any logic in setting a budget based on who stays and who doesn't – isn't that putting the cart before the horse? The Chairman will have an idea of a playing budget but being in limboland presents all kinds of difficulties. It makes it very difficult to plan for next season - some players will stay if they get paid; others may prefer to continue in the Isthmian League.

Last year with no money we wanted players who could get more money playing in the CCL to play at Isthmian level because of the higher status. Now the boot's on the other foot.

I've always found the FootballWebPages forums to be slicker and easier to use than these NLUK ones. This forum seems to have more players, managers, coaches and whatnot contributing.

Surely that makes it a better read, though some of the what nots are best avoided!

Definitely agree on the whatnot front. Bomaya is a whatnot and best avoided. Merstham have the worst forum that exists. It's worse than some club forums that don't exist as it inflames me with rage every time I look at it. The good thing about relegation is that I my urge to bother looking at it with diminish being in a different league.

As for players, coaches and managers – these are the worst people in the world to talk football about. A combination of not seeing the wood for the trees, hidden agendas and deplorable grammar.

I have cheap translator, O Purple one. Incidentally, I struggled with yours before giving up and just accepting it as an abandoned dog of a forum. Tried responding to you but couldn't find the appropriate button and assumed I'd been banned for some long past indiscretion.

I think everyones been banned from our forum bar myself and our match reporter!

It is indeed pretty much an abandoned dog of a website and forum apart from the match reports. We had a replacement website lined up, but that seems to have been abandoned as well since mid-february, Apathy rules!

May get a new one for next season. Either that or I'll have to go on a crash course on setting up websites (and time management), and set one up myself

Spoke to the Chairman last night who confirmed that there will be no change to the 1st team management.

There is a change to the youth team management however where the departing Alex Peters is replaced by Stuart Massey.

Some speculation that should we fail to get any reprieve (a good many Step 5 applicants are looking good for promotion and Ware have pushed us down to 4th in PPG ranking), we may be shunted to Kent as Croydon were a few years a go. Personally I prefer the beer in Sussex and the Kent League looks rather dinky.

Might not be a bad move for Whyteleafe,as when the Step 5 Leagues are changed at the end of next Season, under proposed F.A.Restructuring Plans. You may end up there anyway. However with only 16 Teams in the Kent League at present,it could be easier to get out of,than the C.C.L.

Not just the numbers but the teams in it. With Herne Bay gone it's difficult to see any obvious stand out club(s) in that league. Hopefully no one from that league sees this posting or I'm setting myself for a big fall.................

Would agree, the only fly could be V.C.D.Croydon F.C. played Erith and Belverdere twice, and Beckenham this season, neither were World beaters.Quite a few short away trips as well, which would equal less travelling.Whereas Guernsey,Egham,Windsor,Camberley,Molesey, are all contenders in the C.C.L. next year.
