johnnojudo
Our team was the only team not to lose all day! Played 5, drew 5 :-) Didn't get out of the group!
Lewprosser84
Heard it was a bit of a disaster because of the weather? Teams leaving half way through groups? 90 min wait between games? just what I heard by the way not saying it was like this.
johnnojudo
it was a bit like that. Weather nearly had the whole thing called off. Waiting times between games was huge. 2 pitches were unusable. Thats the english weather for ya. Still well done to Sheerwater for putting all of the effort in and getting the tournament done.
The Mayor Of Simpleton
Can we prosecute this summer under the Trade Descriptions act? I agree with Johnno, well done to Sheerwater for their hard work in putting the game on despite the elements. Hopefully it'll be a better summer next year, weather-wise. danielpjn
Lot of respect for Sheerwater hosting a tournament during this weather. They are hard enough work when the weather is good. Hope the club made a decent amount of money from the day.
