Bring on the play offs

Recommended Posts

So this is it,at the start of the season we would of took this.

We finished 2nd in the league and won 2 more games than the champions, funny old league.

All the teams in the play offs won today.

We play bury who scored 6 or 7 today.

We know it won't be easy and yes they have beaten us twice already but by no means did they outplayed us.We got back to 1-1 up there with 10 men and chased the win, which cost us but at ours we outplayed a very good side who when they got the goal defended very well,I think we hit the bar a couple of times but if you don't score you don't win.

I fully expect this crop of players to go got broke Wednesday and while I know it won't be easy,I think If we keep our composure we will win.

PS,we welcome all of bury down to the bridge on Wednesday and while we have not any pubs to match your local delights we hope you come down and enjoy a drink or 6 with us,before, half, and after the game.

May the best team win.Superb season, let's go for it.

Good luck - I'd much prefer the Bridge on a Tuesday night , than visiting Lowestoft , Bury or Wealdstone next season

Hope the ankle is better Eastside - well done on winning two more games than us but unfortunately for you the league is all about points gained and we got 3 more than you. Remember when we visited your place a few weeks back, I think your lads should have been more motivated for going all out for the win, rather than settling for the point. But hey ho, thats football for you.

Watch out for the Bury play acting - the whole of Lowestoft will be rooting for you !!!!!

Maybe counting chickens, but why is the Monday's final kicking off at 3 with West Ham's game starting at 4.30.

Surely better to bring kick off forward and allow any Hammers to watch their game as well.

They may choose to stay at Home/Pub.

Obviously we shouldn't worry about this until we know if we are defiantly getting to the play off final.

My guess is that if we did ask it would probably be refused by either the ryman league even though it would probably benefit them as they ridiculously get a 3rd of the gate money.

I think a 1.30pm kick off would be good as it would give fans of west ham a chance to get to both games.

I guess it all depends on the weather though

If I was the league and the games don't happen this Wednesday then I would play them Saturday and the following Saturday
