Who cares!

 

Why would any player who consistantly gets derided by certain supporters, regardless of how commited they are to the cause, wants to consider continuing with the club is beyond me. As for 'who cares'.......once agin I would suggest you take 2 mins of Dans time and give him the benefit of your ' vast ' experience and knowledge of football and see if you can help to improve his inadequecies that you seem to be so aware of every season. Stop hiding behind forums and associated sites with your slander and personal recriminations and speak personally to the poor sods you are always bitching about and give them a chance to answer your questions with some accurate, and probably eye-opening, information that will hopefully suprise and enlighten you . Once again though its the end of the season and the opportunity I have just mentioned will sadly ellude you..........convenient or just plain old coincidence..........I wonder ??..........hhmmmmm.............. Out repsect for the 'TRUE SUPPORTERS' who seem to have a less than miopic view than yours, I would say that Dan has enjoyed his time at Margate. Some may not agree with, or indeed like, the way he plays but as an honest and fully committed player he has always done exactly as he was told to do by his Manager/s. That is a prerequisite with ALL footballers at all levels. Do as you are told to do and you will keep your place, if you are also good enough in the Managers opinion. None of this squad, or any other, deserve to have small minded and repressed individuals berating them on a personal basis in public. In my opinion this kind of behaviour should be policed far more aggresively by the 'regulators' of public forums such as Margates, and the offending supporter/s should receive a life time ban from the club and all activities in respect of same. We are all entitled to our opinion I know, that said, so too are the recipients of such cowardly and backstabiing comments made in their absence. If I had my way I would simply say ' do one old man because not many people really care WHAT you have to say !!' but I will, on this last occasion, simply rise above you and your less than knowledgable remarks and bid you ALL good day and farewell. I will always follow Margate and their future progress as I think it is probably the best club in the league and that they, and your true supporters some of whome I have had the pleasure of speaking and drinking with, deserve some success.

just to clarify..............he is more than capable of doing it, just having the chance seems to be the illusive thing. How very frustrating that must be eh ? almost as bad as having to pay £10 to watch a pile of doodoo on the pitch and not have the chance to speak to the players after the game, with said offenders of doodoo, and vent ones anger and give the benefit of ones extensive experience to erradicate future misdemeanours and transgressions. Hear Hear! I like Danny and I think he still has a lot to offer - I hope he stays and I'm really bleedin fed up with people whinging that they know best!

Spot on post Ronks and I truly hope Dan with stay with us for another season, you just cant fault his 100% committment every game thats for sure. Yes it doesnt always come off but I know its not for the lackof trying.

Ronks has asked me to give 2 minutes of my time to help Mr stubbs with his football inadequacies, i would have thought that at this stage of the season the squad would have had about 40 min training sessions of about 2 hours each and in all that time ck and jl haven't help him improve anyone who thinks he has is deluded.my point is this if the management team work with Mr Murphy for a whole season you will see an improvement.

Getting on for 150 appearances in a Margate shirt for a number of managers suggests that Dan brings something to the team contrary to what vic pain lives thinks! They can't all be wrong.

I dont want to protract this diatribe any further than is necessary, suffice to say that, as another supporter has already stated before, young Vic has ulterior motives of a personal nature re the removal/retention of certain players. I only want the 'personal assassination' aspect of any critism to be removed and discussion to be more constructive. The differances between the two are considerable and should be observed.Especially by an adult with a modicom of common sense and a sense of decency.Somehow though I think, with my expected outcome, the need to continue this kind of debate will no longer be necessary.
