Smudge Wembley aren't the money bags you think,batesy may have a budget it will still take a season or 2 to get a settled squad.look at bedfont green,chertsey and Walton cas when they went up.it makes me laugh with predicting next years winners.it will be the same old faces in the running with 1 or 2 surprises.u can't choose between Windsor,camberley and Egham who have put a good assault on the lge in hamshers 1st full season.i myself believe we have a top 5 squad but are losing 2 decent players and have to replace them whilst trying to add a bit of quality which is not going to easy.pre season starts for us on the 4th of June and we're expecting a mass turn out and ian has to sieve thru all the sh1t hoping to find that diamond along with the usual mercineries that turn up smelling money.

As for Saturdays game we were poo! RPV played well and I thought the ref done well considering the tackles that went in on that surface.seeing as players were on show to prove to Ian their worth a shirt next season none of them done themselves favours,me included.

Roll on pre season 34 days to go.

Egham 1 – 1 Farnham Town. A good point for us in our final game of the season against a good Egham side. They moved the ball quickly with some decent movement but we stuck to our task, worked hard and deserved a point in the end.

Slightly disappointed on two points;

1. Due to the weather we placed two t-shirts at the side of the pitch for our long throw specialist to use to dry the ball. An Egham representative firstly threw them over their wall and out of their ground and after they had been retrieved he then hid them in their turnstile!!! Not sure why? Egham could have used them if they wished! Embarrassing really!!!

2. I know that illegal approaches go on at this level however; to approach one of my players during the cool down for next season takes the p**s a bit!!! Is there still a fine system in place for approaches???

Must be the same Official who charged £12 for Oap and child to get in when we visited earlier in the season

Straight in there !....blimey Egham don't waste much time. What is the Egham representative doing with the Farnham lads whlist cooling down, shaking his hand after the game ;) ! If its after the game, which clearly it was, and the season technically comes to an end, if the player isn't on contract, one would assume the Farnham player becomes a free agent. If there is any doubt why not complain to the CCL and ask for their comments. Who was the Farnham player anyway ?

Surprised to see 'only' 1100 at Guernsey on Saturday. Was it not the day the trophy was presented? Where did the other 1000 go?

the other 1000 only watch a descent team ;)
